Describe how you started in project management
I started my career in project management, working as a project coordinator in the market research department for a major healthcare retailer. I was responsible for supporting market managers by building out project plans, researching market trends, creating presentation decks, etc. to provide recommendations to entry into new market territories and maintain current market presence. This experience kickstarted my comprehensive career in project and program management.

What has been a project accomplishment or a challenge that you have overcome that you feel most proud of?
I am proud of bringing the drone technology into the marketplace because I had to overcome a lot of project challenges, such as vendor management and new technology to deploy this work. This project helped to reduce time for claim adjusters to take estimates for damaged property and to save on cost and time for our customers. This was a heavy lift for the organization but I lead this project with integrity, professionalism and efficiency.

What is one fun fact about you?
I was a pageant queen in college and was awarded a scholarship as the number 1 winner.
